Idyllwild, Hamilton K-8, and Hamilton High will have a two-hour delay in start time for precautionary measures due to power outages. The District will continue to work with emergency services to monitor weather conditions throughout the entire district this evening. Transportation for Idyllwild, Hamilton K-8, and Hamilton High School will be delayed by exactly two hours tomorrow. These changes will not affect high school student transportation from Idyllwild to Hemet High School. Additionally, there will be no change in transportation for special education students residing in the outlying communities that attend programs in the valley. Cottonwood K-8 transportation will run on-time and accommodations are being made for students residing in the Cottonwood boundary attending Hamilton High. Out of an abundance of caution, we will be canceling the late activity bus out of Hemet High to Idyllwild tomorrow evening. We are continuing to monitor the situation and will provide updates if things change.
